On Your Marks project - August 2006 - July 2008

Get yourself Set to reach your Goal

Designed to provided support and assistance to businesses relocating from the Olympic Park, the On Your Marks project aims to assist Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME's) located within the Olympic Boroughs (Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Waltham Forest and Greenwich), manage change and respond to new opportunities.

Funded by the London Development Agency (LDA) and the European Social fund (ESF), the objective of the project is to increase the skills base of existing or newly recruited employees, so that local SMEs are ready to react and respond to the new prospects created by the regeneration of East London and the Olympic games.

The project will deliver qualifications in basic skills (literacy and numeracy), NVQ's at levels 2 and 3 in various subjects (including customer service, construction, manufacturing and IT), and other accredited computing courses including Microsoft, Cisco and Sun systems.

We would also strive to fund additional courses specific to your individual organisational needs, these can be discussed with the Project Team at any time.

East London e-Learning is one of three delivery organisations involved in this project. Our partners role is to offer support to staff that will be made redundant due to the games, or managers of small organisations that require relocation advice or further management qualifications. Please contact the Project Team at East London e-Learning for further information.
