Although each of our business development projects are distinct, these frequently asked questions generally apply to all.
For any further information, please contact the Project Team today.
All of the projects we manage are fully funded and so are free at the point of delivery. Please contact the Project Team for a clear breakdown of each funding body.
All training will be delivered on-line with a vocational focus and continued support from a learning advisor/individual assessor. Where necessary, there may be scope for alternative delivery methods, but this will be agreed in advance with the Project Team.
The qualifications available via our projects include:
• Certificate in Literacy and Numeracy (Skills for Life)
• IT awards at NVQ Level 2 and 3
• NVQ awards in various subjects including Customer Service.
• Accredited/Certified IT courses including Microsoft, Cisco, Sun, CompTIA and RFID4u
Our e-learning approach is extremely flexible and allows our training to be completed at a time and place convenient to both business and employee.
We can visit your premises to assess and enrol your learners; alternatively, registration and study can be based at a range of centres throughout London.
Learners can work via CD-Rom or at their own time and pace on the internet.
We are also able to provide laptops or PDA's in workplaces where computer access is not available, and offer advice, support and guidance to employees not already familiar with the use of information technology.
Training duration is dependent on the needs and the commitment of each business, and the type of courses required. Skills for Life may be completed in a few sessionss, while IT NVQs can take a few months of learning and assessment.
The Cutting IT project is due to finish in December 2007, while all other projects are scheduled to finish in July 2008.
